This week the College Board approved a measure which will allow students to pay the €2,250 Student Contribution Charge in instalments from this September. 

The Students’ Union has been lobbying College on this matter all year and this is a significant step towards making the charge more manageable for students who have difficulty in gathering such a significant sum for one payment. 

Students will now be able to pay for the student contribution in two instalments of €1,125 each, the first to be paid in September and the second to be paid no later than the 31st of January. 

All fees will be paid on a new online system this year. Details will be emailed to your college email account along with the invoice. Once logged in you will be able to choose to pay your fees in instalments.

Once again, we’re delighted that this simple but significant change is being made to the payment system for the contribution charge. We hope it helps to ease any financial pressure that you and your family may be experiencing each year.
