Referendum and Elections Polling

To vote in the USI disaffiliation referendum and class rep elections just go to the appropriate polling station for your faculty, present your student card and tell the person running the station your year and class.

You must have your student card with you or you will not be allowed to cast your vote.

Arts Block & Hamilton Building
Mon 1st October 10am - 5pm
Tue 2nd October 10am - 5pm
Wed 3rd October 10am - 7pm
Thu 4th October 9pm - 4pm

D'Olier Street
Tue 2nd October 10am - 1pm
Wed 3rd October 10am - 1pm

St James' Hospital
Thu 4th October 12pm - 3pm

Where to vote

If you're an undergraduate student then you can vote in both the referendum and the election for your class rep (if one is taking place).

  • Undergrads from the faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences must vote at the Arts Block polling station.
  • Undergrads from the faculty of Engineering, Mathematics and Science must vote at the Hamilton Building polling station.
  • Undergrads from the schools of Dental Science and Pharmacy must vote at the Hamilton Building polling station.
  • Undergrads from the school of Medicine must vote at the St James' Hospital polling station when it is open and the Hamilton Building station outside of those hours.
  • Undergrads from the school of Nursing and Midwifery must vote at the D'Olier Street polling station when it is open and the Hamilton Building station outside of those hours.
If you're a postgraduate student then you can vote in the referendum only. You can vote at any of the polling stations.
