GSU
The Graduate Students' Union is the representative body for Trinity's five thousand postgraduates. Run by an elected executive, including two full-time officers - the president and vice-president - the GSU provides advice, advocacy and support on all academic and welfare issues faced by postgrads. The GSU organises regular social events, and manages the 1937 Reading Room, a dedicated postgraduate study space, and the GSU Common Room, where members can relax in comfort.
The president and vice-president represent postgraduate interests on Board and Council, and work closely with College officers, the Dean of Graduate Studies and the Graduate Studies Office. They are available to meet in the GSU Office in House 6, and opening hours can be found on the GSU website.
